Johanna R. Landreneau, Attorney at Law
Johanna has practiced law in Baton Rouge for over 30 years representing clients in a broad range of complex, civil litigation matters including employment, construction, commercial, insurance defense, wills/estates and successions. Today, Johanna uses her decades of a broad range of legal experience to advise businesses and collaborate with C-suite and key stakeholders in the areas of employment, HR compliance and consulting, business formation, development, branding and brand protection (including copyright and trademark registration), and risk management. Throughout her career, Johanna has presented seminars and roundtables on employment, estate planning, wills, and trusts.
After Johanna obtained her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, she graduated from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert School of Law where her coursework included studying Constitutional Law with U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist. She is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar, the U.S. District Court Middle District of Louisiana and is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and is certified as a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
Johanna and her husband, Kevin Landreneau, are law partners and have been married for 34 years. They have three adult children and two grandchildren. Some highlights from her community service include serving as the former Chief Operating Officer of HOPE Ministries of Baton Rouge; co-founding and serving as the Interim Executive Director of Clean Pelican, Inc., a Baton Rouge anti-litter nonprofit; serving as a member of the advisory board for Influential Baton Rouge Business Women (BRBW); and is a past President of Tara Club.
